About XitSource

Good businesses deserve a strong next chapter.

XitSource acquires established businesses with solid fundamentals and meaningful opportunities to improve how they operate, grow and serve their customers.

Our approach

Preserve the strengths. Improve the systems.

We are interested in businesses that already do something well: they have customers who rely on them, employees who know the operation, a reputation built over time, and economics that can support the next stage of ownership.

Our role is not to arrive with a playbook that replaces everything. It is to understand why the business works, protect those strengths, and then improve the areas where better systems can make a measurable difference.

That can include technology, automation, AI, marketing, customer follow-up, scheduling, reporting, financial controls and operating processes. Modernization should support the business—not overwhelm it.

How we think

Four principles guide the acquisition process.

Strong foundations

We look for established businesses with real customers, durable demand, understandable economics and a reputation worth preserving.

Thoughtful transitions

Many good businesses reach a point where the owner is ready for retirement or a new chapter. We want the transition to respect what they built.

Practical modernization

Better systems, technology, automation, AI, marketing and reporting should make a good business stronger—not change it simply for the sake of change.

Disciplined economics

Every opportunity has to make sense on its own merits. We would rather pass on a deal than force the numbers to fit.

How location fits

The business comes before the map.

We are industry-agnostic and evaluate each opportunity on the quality of the business, the owner transition, local operating conditions, the economics and our ability to operate it well. Geography matters to underwriting, but it is not a rigid boundary.

Ownership horizon

Built around the business, not a preset exit date.

Some businesses may be appropriate to own for the long term. Others may eventually have a different path. We make that decision based on the business and its opportunities rather than starting with a fixed hold period.
